Supervisory Nurse-GMS/ICU

Plan, develop, organize, direct, and evaluate nursing services provided on the GMS and ICU units. Ensure nursing services provided are consistent with nationally recognized evidence-based practice standards and Indian Health Service standards for safety and quality. Ensure GMS and ICU remain functionally compliant with accreditation standards at all times. Lead unit-based performance improvement projects with staff engagement and involvement at all stages of the process. Effectively participate in teamwork and collaboration with interdepartmental, interdisciplinary health care team members in order to provide safe and effective GMS and ICU nursing services. To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). Education:
Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant. Must submit copy of transcript. Applications will be considered incomplete without proof. AND Registration:
Applicants must have active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Must submit copy of Nursing license that includes expiration date. In addition to the above you must meet the following minimum qualifications to be considered for the position. MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
GS-12:
One year of specialized experience with knowledge of nursing concepts, skills, and principles necessary to provide professional services including:
assisting with all aspects of managing the General Medical/Surgical and Intensive Care units. Provide leadership, direction, and technical expertise in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of nursing services for the benefit and provision of safe comprehensive care. Supervisory Abilities:
This is a supervisory position and candidates, in addition to the professional qualifications listed, must have demonstrated in their work experience or training, that they possess, or have potential to develop, the qualities of successful supervision, as required for this position. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements:
Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
