Supervisory Nurse (Infection Control)

Formulate policies and procedures for employee health and infection control to meet regulatory agencies guidelines. Supervise, evaluate, develop and implement the Infection Control and Employee Health and Environmental Services program for CIH. Develop and coordinate internal review systems to assure that both clinical and administrative activities are in compliance with agency and accrediting and regulatory requirements. Provide first-line and second-line supervisory authority over the occupational health program and environmental services programs, with responsibility and accountability for the departmental operations. To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). Education:
Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant. Must submit copy of transcript. Applications will be considered incomplete without proof. AND Registration:
Applicants must have active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Must submit copy of Nursing license that includes expiration date. In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below. MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
GS-12:
One year of specialized experience Developing policies and procedures for infection control, employee health, and patient safety and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements. Understand and present health and educational resources. Manage employee health records, collect data and prepare reports for Quality Improvement and Clinical Committees. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements:
Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
