Supervisory Performance and Quality Improvement Officer

Supervise staff within the Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance department. Assist leadership with the overall program planning for the hospital performance and quality improvement program. Participate in meeting accreditation standards. Measure and evaluate data to determine the ultimate impact of the programs on both the medical operation and the health of patients. Lead the effort to develop the technology and process infrastructure needed to support quality and performance improvement programs. Communicate the strategic vision, scope and mission of quality and performance management. To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). BASIC REQUIREMENT(S):
Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree:
major study in an academic field related to the Medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below- MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
GS-12:
One (1) year of full-time specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. Examples include:
experience providing oversite of a Performance and Quality Improvement (QPI) programs. Develop and lead in the implementation of QPl programs and measure, evaluate, interpret data, and report data to higher echelons of a medical facility, revise standard QPI methods to improve or extend test systems. Preferred experience in QPI using synergized managerial concepts, such as Professionals in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Program in Hospital Management (CPHM), or Lean Six Sigma. Supervisory Abilities:
This is a supervisory position and candidates, in addition to the professional qualifications listed, must have demonstrated in their work experience or training, that they possess, or have potential to develop, the qualities of successful supervision, as required for this position. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
