Responsibilities Under general supervision of the Registered Nurse, function as a member of the surgical team, creating and maintaining a sterile field, supplying surgeon with needed instruments and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures of Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital.
Assist with and assume general departmental duties and responsibilities.
Practice within the guidelines set by AST and AORN.
Perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
QualificationsJob Requirements Graduate of a Surgical Technology program, equivalent training as an LPN or five years of experience in scrubbing operative procedures Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT) Preferred Job RequirementsTwo (2) years clinical practice with experience in the specific field Recommended Skills Certified Nurse Practitioner Clinical Practices Sterilization Surgical Procedures Apply to this job.
