The Barron Law Firm, PLLC The Barron Law Firm, PLLC Claremore, OK Claremore, OK Full-time Full-time From $40,000 a year From $40,000 a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Primary Responsibilities Answer office telephone and communicate with clients Maintain and manage office calendars, scheduling appointments, and docketing of tasks Work under direction of attorneys and provide a wide range of administrative and clerical support Develop and maintain client files Make runs to courthouse for filings Assist in preparation, scanning, and copying of documents Requesting client medical records and bills Interact with clients, court staff, and attorneys Qualifications Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Notary is preferred or willing to obtain a Notary Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Ability to keyboard at a minimum of 25 words per minute Ability to muli-task and operate in a self-directed and self-motivated environment Must be an organized worker Benefits Small office professional work environment Ability to take-off work and maintain reasonably flexible work hours Health Insurance benefits can be discussed Paid time off This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the law to join our team.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
